Lost and Found

Sometimes people join this club and think that can just waltz off and leave us, so I've tracked them down to the corners of the Earth and demanded they tell us what their up to these days.....

Working with Toyota now. Decent job, get to hop around quite a bit.

Spent some time in the states, been to Japan a couple times and I'm heading to California/Mexico around Sept. The best part is they hired two buddies/booze-bags from school for the same job. So I've been able to get right pissed through out my travels. Things I've learned respect Kentucky Whiskey and never mess with a Japanese Rodeo Cowboy.

Besides that still climbing, but only indoor. (The curse of being surrounded by farmland). I got engaged last November in Nashville Tennessee and me and Jen are getting married August 23, I've had to ask all ex-Moose to stay away.

How are you doing. I am still working in this company. Things changed a lot. A part of my company closes down and thus Helle wont be my colleague anymore. It is not sure that it will be like this but it looks like it.

I am still trying to climb but not as much as in Jordanstown. First it was too cold than I was in Spain by myself and now it is time to go again.

I just moved my flat and now I am not living in the loud center of town anymore. I moved to the suburbs that are close to a lake, forest and work.

Tatra mountains, Poland
Just after I left Ireland I was in Alps with Helle and my Polish friend. First couple of days were a bit crapy it rained and we could see for an inch, but the rest was absolutely cracking. We slept in wee wooden huts, and walker through the peaks meeting almost no one.

Next year, we decided to go bigger and went to Caucasus. Caucasus was the best craic a have ever had. We climber the highest peak in Europe – Elbrus which is over 5500m!. The mountains look like little Himalayas.

We planned to go this year to Pamirs in Asia but dear folk Ben Laden is hiding there from US missals so it would be “a bit” to risky. Additionally I try to write my Final Project now, and work already, so don’t have much time for travels.

I ended up working for a Japanese firm like Mike. I decided to go there (Japan) and work in Asaba for two years, but after 2 weeks I recognized that I'm too relaxed for everybody there and that means a lot as I'm that......

I tried to continue climbing here too ,but I think I should stop biting my fingernails and working in bars what I did after I came back from Belfast "City of Rock'n'Roll". I really enjoyed the "one way system" and I hope Mike will kick my ass to get me to the next wall soon.........:-)

See us hopefully in the next future! Helmut
